Refurbishment at Lombard Trading Estate in Charlton
We’ve recently started refurbishment work at Lombard Trading Estate in Charlton on behalf of our client, Orchard Street Investment Management.
Our work is part of a wider programme of active asset management by Orchard Street that will significantly improve the estate’s EPC ratings. Measures include improving the air quality and the thermal efficiency of the units. alongside social value initiatives such as educational site visits by a local college to inspire interest in the construction industry.
Our work to one of the nine units on the 60,200 sq ft site, includes the installation of a new roof, with solar PV panels and EV charging hubs to improve energy efficiency and reduce the unit’s carbon footprint. We will also be installing new windows and doors along with fitting-out the office space.
The £400,000 project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025.
HBS Director Andrew Pratt commented, “We’re delighted to be working on another sustainable and environmentally conscious project for Orchard Street following the successful completion of Euroway Trade Park last year and we’re confident of another positive outcome.”
