Worldwide House, Peterborough
We’ve recently completed various refurbishment works to Worldwide House, a 164,000 sq ft purpose-built, high-specification office building arranged over four floors in Peterborough.
The £800k, 24-week project on behalf of Maya Capital, involved the phased installation of a ‘strike and shift’ scaffold which allowed the works to progress unhindered.
For the external decoration of the building, we used a StoColor Dryonic paint system that provides several benefits that include protection against algae and fungal attack, high levels of colour stability and protection from fading and very quick drying after rain and dew formation.
Following a detailed survey of the windows, perished mastic seals were replaced along with other areas of mastic joints that required a more technical approach to complete.
We installed an Aquapol liquid roofing system to the gutters which provides a seamless membrane for their long-term protection, backed by a 20-year product warranty.
For the building’s car park facility, we carried our resurfacing and white lining and the installation of architectural lighting.
