Workspace Head Office, London
HBS have recently completed the extension of the acoustic louvered plant area to long-standing client Workspace’s head office. The work was required to enable air conditioning to be installed to the lower floors of the building.
The project, which had to be undertaken outside of normal working hours to minimise disruption, included crane lifting and installing the steelwork and louvres to the roof area, installation of new risers and extension of the tray capacity throughout the floors to accommodate the air conditioning pipework. HBS secured the project through a competitive tender process.
James Brett, HBS Project Director said “This was a complex and challenging project that had to be scheduled to minimise inconvenience to Workspace’s operations. Our team’s professional approach achieved this ensuring the project finished on time and under budget.”
