Thames Water, Watford
HBS have recently completed the £500k Liquid Roofing and external restoration of Thames Water’s sewage pump station at Juniper Hill in Watford. The works included scaffolding access, masonry repairs, Liquid Roofing, window repairs and external and internal decorations and spanned a 20-week programme.
HBS worked with partners Martech to provide Cathodic protection to the structure of the building, this prevents the buildings steel frame from corroding by the installation of a low voltage current passing through the steel frame. This results in the lifespan of the building being greatly increased.
For the Liquid Roofing system HBS used the Centaur Roofing system.
Andrew Pratt, HBS Projects Director commented “We are delighted that the service and quality we delivered on our other projects for Thames Water enabled us to secure this new instruction and we’re very proud of our team who have delivered another first-class project.”
