Liquid roofing overlay to various site buildings
The Ashford Common water treatment plant, located in Surrey, is one of the largest water treatment plants in Europe. With a maximum output of approximately 7,870 litres of water per second, Ashford Common provides around a third of London’s water supply.
Our long-standing client Thames Water appointed us to carry out the liquid roofing overlay to the main pump house, offices, and various ancillary buildings on the site. We installed Proteus Pro-Cold to cover the 10,000m2 of roof, which is a high-performance, seamless, and cold-applied waterproofing membrane that is suitable for use in all climates. We also installed full scaffold access with edge protection.
The £1.2m project was scheduled for 22 weeks.
