Staines Pump Station, Staines
HBS have completed the external restoration of the Victorian Staines Raw Water Pumping Station (RWPS) that provides water to the town of Staines via the nearby reservoir.
The building, which was in desperate need of repair, required a range of restoration works that included re-lining gutters, replacing defective downpipes and gutters, repairing and painting windows and restoring damaged brickwork and roofing. All work was carried out using a specialist access system.
Andrew Pratt, HBS Projects Director commented, “We’re very proud to have restored this beautiful and historic building to its former glory. Our team’s standard of work has been excellent and the project was delivered on budget and to the agreed programme.”
