HBS were appointed to complete the external restoration and internal refurbishment of the Grade II listed Rainham Cemetery Chapel, on behalf of our long-standing client the London Borough of Havering.

The restoration works were all carried out sympathetically and in accordance with heritage requirements, with the HBS specialist restoration team using traditional masonry techniques to restore the external failing stone and brickwork features. Internal works included refurbishment of the joinery, floor finishes and redecoration.

This project forms part of several ecclesiastical restoration projects we have undertaken that includes Romford Cemetery and Upminster Crematorium.
