Hilldene Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Romford in Essex and spread over a wide area with plenty of green open space. The school caters for over 600 five to eleven year-old’s with a further part time nursery facility for 90 younger children.

HBS have a broad portfolio of school extensions within the London Borough of Havering and this is a further testament to their adaptability as a primary contractor.

The multi faceted turn-key package included constructing two separate free standing buildings with complete internal fit out of classrooms and staff room. The work was accompanied by hard landscaping and external works to car park, play ground space and surrounding soft landscaping. The exterior work included supplying and installing a bespoke covered walkway and railings in addition to the tarmac surfacing and related drainage.
