We’re delighted to announce our appointment by the Marriott Group to carry out the comprehensive external facade restoration and roof replacement of the Park Grand Hotel, Kensington.

The works will include full scaffolding to the front and rear of the Georgian section, with a hanging scaffold to the rear to facilitate high-level parapet repairs. The roof will undergo a complete replacement using Proteus Pro-Cold, which includes a 20-year warranty and 130mm of insulation. Additionally, 12 VRF systems will be removed and reinstated, with new metalwork installed to support the system.

The £750k project also involves a full external restoration of the main façade, incorporating decorations, asbestos removal, new cladding, a canopy, and upgraded lighting. The Georgian section will undergo extensive refurbishment, including DOFF cleaning, masonry repairs, and decorative works. Furthermore, significant timber repairs and a full sash window overhaul will be carried out on both the front and rear elevations.

The project is due to commence at the start of February with a scheduled 20-week programme.
