HBS Awarded Medium-Term Contract with The Arch Company
The Arch Company is the UK’s largest small business landlord, serving thousands of business owners who make a unique and vital contribution to the UK economy. With a property portfolio of approximately 5,200 railway arches, business estates, former station buildings and other properties, The Arch Company is proud to be the landlord to a diverse, passionate group of small business owners, entrepreneurs and community organisations across England and Wales.
Further to a pre-qualification and tendering process, we have been awarded a medium-term contract by the Arch Company to refurbish various railway arches located around central London. The scope of the contract is wide ranging, and projects will include upgrading vacant railway arches with new arch linings, concrete floor refurbishment and replacement, secure entrances and new shop fronts, installation of welfare facilities, construction of commercial extensions, and the provision of new utilities so the arches are ready for new tenants and leases.
HBS Commercial and Projects Director Andrew Pratt commented “We’re very excited by the agreement we have with The Arch Company, our teams have a vast amount of experience required for the type of work required and I’m confident we’ll have the buildings looking great and ready for tenants when needed.”
