HBS Awarded Classroom Extension Project at Mead Primary School in Romford
HBS are pleased to announce they have been awarded the contract by the London Borough of Havering for the construction of a 4-classroom extension and associated works, at Mead Primary School in Romford.
The £1.5 million project, which will be funded by local government, will ensure the school meets the demand for places, and will also upgrade some of the school’s existing facilities.
The works include a two-storey classroom block extension and refurbishment of the kitchen and main school halls. HBS will also undertake the replacement of all windows to the school whilst on site.
The project is scheduled to commence at Easter 2020 with a proposed completion for Summer 2021.
HBS Project Director Andrew Pratt commented, “We’re very excited about being awarded the project at Mead Primary School. We have delivered a number of school projects for our long-standing client the London Borough of Havering and I’m confident the HBS project team will do the same again!”
