As part of the wider Cathedral Hill Industrial Estate in Guildford, where our redevelopment has transformed the industrial estate into a state-of-the-art, carbon neutral, Breeam excellent facility, we recently completed the refurbishment of a unit that was subsequently tenanted by Porsche.

Included in the refurbishment was the original floor, which had been coated with a poor-quality concrete paint that was peeling, stained, and had reached the end of its useful life. Our work involved repairing all defective areas, repair and grouting of joints and the use of a planetary diamond grinding and polishing system to achieve a semi-glass finish.

This system allows Porsche to keep the unit exceptionally clean and dust free, and as an alternative to a resin-based system, it aligns with the environmentally friendly philosophy of the overall scheme.
