HBS Start Work at the London Stock Exchange

The London Stock Exchange located in Paternoster Square, close to St. Paul’s Cathedral, has a market capitalisation of over $6 trillion, making it the third-largest stock exchange in the world. The Paternoster square headquarters were opened in 2004 after the old Stock Exchange Tower became largely redundant with ‘Big-Bang’, which deregulated many of the Stock Exchange’s activities, as it enabled an increased use of computerised systems that allowed dealing rooms to take over work previously done by face-to-face trading.

HBS have been appointed to install a new liquid roofing solution to the building, which replaces the existing 200m2 roof that had reached the end of its economic life. HBS Project Director Andrew Pratt commented “We’re extremely pleased to have been trusted with this project. We know our liquid roofing system will provide long-term, guaranteed protection for the valuable assets that are beneath.”
